Was wird gemacht:
Wohnheim (Haus 7 A/B + 5)
- neue Kabel & Dosen
Damit die Bauarbeiten schnell vorrüber sind solltet ihr den mit einem grünen Punkt markierten Bereich freiräumen.
Den Zettel dafür findet ihr im Treppenhaus. Gerade Laufen die arbeiten in Haus 7 und dann in Haus 5.
Die Handwerker müssen mehrfach euer Zimmer betreten und werden Löcher in die Decken und den Boden Bohren. Es entsteht ein wenig Staub, aber wirklich minimal.
Sollte etwas vorfallen ist Frau Kage vom Studentenwerk mittwochs immer hier im Dorf. Ihr könnt auch die Handwerker auf Englisch ansprechen.
Bitte räumt die markierten Bereiche frei.
Studentendorf (Haus 11 – 15)
- neue Dosen (keine Bohrungen in der Decke oder dem Boden)
- Mit Beginn der Arbeiten werden die privaten Anschlüsse wegfallen und es kann auch zu Ausfällen des Internets über die Hochschule kommen.
Klausuren:
- Zettel mit Datum und Uhrzeit in Englisch
Die Handwerker werden dann für diesen Zeitraum euer Zimmer nicht betreten.
Internet:
- Die Umschaltwoche wird 4 Wochen vorher bekannt gegeben. Wärend dieser Zeit wird es zu Internetausfällen kommen! (Mitte/Ende Juli)
- Neues Internet mit mind. 25 Mbit/s up- & download mit einer Fritzbox (WLAN und LAN fähig)
- Hotline 9-19 Uhr mit garantierter Behebung von einem Werktag

The process right now:
In Buildings 5, 7A, 7B they are laying new cables and installing new plugs.
You will find drawings of the rooms with green dots in the hallways.
To help getting the process done as fast as possible please clear the space of the green spot in your room.
The workers are working on building 7A/B right now and will afterwards continue with building 5.
The workers will have to enter your room more than one time so it is helpful to clear the space unitil they are done with everything in your room. They workers are going to drill holes in the floor and the ceiling of your room but they should clean the dust in your room. If there is some sort of issue you should talk to the workers in the building (they can speak English) and every Wednesday the project manager Frau Kage from the Studentenwerk SH is going to be there so you are welcome to ask her questions as well.
The Studentendorf building 11,13 and 15 are going to get new plugs (the buildings do not need new cables so there will be no drilling in the rooms)
The work will start after buildings 5, 7A and 7B are finished but there will be an official email with a notice before the work begins.
As soon as the work begins, the private connections will no longer be available and the Internet at the university may also fail.
Meetings and Exams:
If you have an exam or an important meeting you should write a letter with the date and time of the meeting and pin into your door (in English). The workers will not enter your room during this time.
Internet:
The official internet exchange date will be announced 4 weeks in advance with an official email from the Studentenwerk (approximately at the end of July). During the internet exchange there are going to be times with no internet connection.
The new Internet will have an up- and download rate of at least 25 Mbits/s with a Fritzbox (WLAN and LAN).
For the new internet there is going to be a hotline for internet issues witch guarantees help in one workday.
